90210 Madness

By - No comments:
Hey, you guys! I promise to get back to all of your comments from my previous post as soon as possible. What a marvelous surprise, getting so many wonderful amounts of feedback from all of you. Can't wait to reply back! I was out of town for most of the weekend, visiting with family, but I'm back now. Ohhh and I scored two of the coolest pairs of boots I could ever hope to find (can't wait to showcase them in the blog, soon!)

In the meantime, I hope you like the 90210 muse board I made for you. My latest obsession. I actually just started watching it, via iTunes last week and became instantly hooked. I've only gotten up to episode 4; "The Bubble," but nevertheless, liking it more and more with every episode. I can't decide if I like it even more than Gossip girl? My favorite characters are Naomi Clark (deliciously evil) and Ethan Ward (just plain delicious!) I can't forget to mention Jessica Stroup, "Silver" who has as much an affinity for knee socks as I do and I wish I had her steel blue eyes.

a Splash of Thanks!

Daisy Bella, I was as pleased as a peach after receiving your scrumptious goodies in the mail (and Audrey-to boot!) Thank you for the warm gifts and equally kind card, my dear. You know how to make me smile.
Daryl Hannah single handedly turned the t-shirt dress into an idea that truly worked. In Splash, also featuring Tom Hanks, Daryl manages to bring the mythical mermaid to life; a very stylish one at that! This 1984 classic still remains a favorite. Where is Bloomingdales?
I want to say a GINORMOUS (meaning: really, really big!) thanks to all of my readers. I certainly do enjoy receiving your commentaries and wonderful feedback, as well as viewing each and every one of your blogs. It's almost like being welcomed with open arms to a very large (and very fashion forward!) family. Thank you.

Lily Aldridge; Muse, It-Girl & an Inspiration!

photo collage credit: goes to me, as I made it myself with photos taken from tFS thread.
She's a model, is known for hanging with the "in crowd" of Hollywood & garnered the starring spot in The Olsens' The Row advertisements. At only 22 years old, her effortless/chic style inspires me more than even the most well known designers known for showcasing their detailed & exotic ensembles the world over... Lily still wins me over with her unique touches.

Hope you enjoy my Favorite Outfit Picks from 2011. *If you want to see the posts in their entirety (*click each individual image to see more..)

Wasn't it just yesterday that I was sitting here and reviewing the previous year in a nutshell? Seriously, I feel as though I blinked last New Year's Eve and opened my eyes and it was January 1, 2012. Last year went by in a flash, yet I feel as though I've evolved a lot. I'm actually pretty shy in person. Or so it would appear, to those who don't know me very well. Once I warm up to you, I start talking a mile and minute and grinning from ear-to-ear. Make me laugh, and all of my shyness melts around me in a puddle. Fashion is my one way of feeling in control. When I'm happy with what I'm wearing, I just feel better about myself. It's like an energy boost or something. I dress for comfort and for myself. In a way, blogging has helped me to grow into a stronger, more confident, person.
I'm so grateful for the opportunities that blogging has brought my way this past year...from writing my own column in the local Style magazine to flying in to New York for parties and shows on a whim. I still take these experiences in stride and feel as though I'm living in a dream every time. I nearly pinch myself when attending New York Fashion Week each season. I don't think I've changed personality-wise, but have grown in my stylistic choices and improved in my shopping habits. I hope this year is even more exciting, filled with plenty of traveling and new job opportunities.
And guess what? I plan to take all of you on the ride with me. I really wish I could stick my hand out of this computer screen and shake yours. I am so motivated to work on my blog BECAUSE. OF. YOU! So, once again, thank you. I love you. And, Happy New Year!!
P.S. Keep the comments coming. It's my favorite part of blogging, reading what YOU have to say! :)
